At Maison des Animaux, we are passionate about animal welfare and we believe in a future where every animal is loved, protected and cared for. Our mission is to create a safe and loving shelter for abandoned animals, while providing essential support to homeless people in our community.
Our project
The Animal House is much more than a shelter. It is a place of compassion, hope and redemption for animals and people in need. Our project aims to provide a safe and comfortable shelter for abandoned animals, providing them with veterinary care, love and a second chance. At the same time, we provide vital support to homeless people by providing shelter, meals and social support. The shelter will have a veterinary clinic taking care of individuals' animals and at the same time abandoned animals who will need care, premises for the animals, an accommodation program, participation in the active life of the shelter and social reintegration for the homeless and an animal boarding facility for individuals as well as a physical store in addition to the website.
We want to open the first shelter in Greece in the Athens area because we have a special affinity for this country and we know perfectly the local life of animals and homeless people. Then when the project is fully developed and autonomous, open others in Greece and other countries and establish a model of mutual aid between animals and the homeless, promoting social reintegration and compassion towards the the most vulnerable living beings .
